Throwback: Cristiano Ronaldo showboats next to angry Chelsea fans

Cristiano Ronaldo may have become a ruthless goalscorer over the last few years, but he was an amazing entertainer at Manchester United.

The forward arrived at United aged 18 and loved to express himself by showcasing his vast array of skills at any given opportunity.

His showboating would infuriate the opposition and an old clip of Ronaldo practising his tricks ahead of a game against Chelsea in 2008 has resurfaced online.

The Portuguese international messed up one piece of skill during the warm-up, which prompted jeers from the Chelsea supporters.

However, Ronaldo responds by flicking the ball over his head and catching it between his knees before defiantly standing in front of his critics.
