Alex Iwobi has been one of Arsenal‘s biggest improvers under Unai Emery – and the forward continued his good form with an eye-catching display against Fulham.
Iwobi became something of a maligned figure at Arsenal during Arsene Wenger’s final season at the club but has started 2018-19 in impressive form, establishing himself in Emery’s starting XI ahead of more illustrious names.
The Gunners travelled to Fulham on Sunday and recorded their biggest win of the season, beating the Cottagers 5-1 thanks to braces from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, plus a stunning team goal finished off by Aaron Ramsey.
Iwobi failed to trouble the scoresheet but earned plenty of praise from fans online, especially after an excellent nutmeg which left Fulham defender Cyrus Christie desperately backpedalling.
