Watch: Alexander-Arnold on the game which inspired him to play for Liverpool
Trent Alexander-Arnold says he remembers the moment he realised he wanted to play for Liverpool for the rest of his life.
Alexander-Arnold became the youngest Englishman to play in a Champions League semi-final as the 19-year-old started Liverpool’s 5-2 victory over Roma at Anfield.
And the right-back continues to earn plaudits for his performances, with many touting the youngster for an England call-up ahead of the World Cup in Russia this summer.
Interviewed for the Champions League official website ahead of their clash with Roma, Alexander-Arnold recalled his first Liverpool game,
“I was still very young,” he said. “I think I was only seven, and that was my first ever Liverpool game as well.
“From that moment, I knew I wanted to play for Liverpool for the rest of my life, and I knew I would support them forever.”
