Watch: Alexandre Lacazette hits the post with amazing long-range effort
Alexandre Lacazette was inches away from scoring a sensational goal for Arsenal against Brighton on Sunday when he smashed a half-volley against the post from 25 yards.
Lacazette has scored four goals in his first six Premier League appearances for the Gunners, but this would have been comfortably his most memorable had it gone in.

Lacazette’s effort came after just one minute, but the Gunners only had Nacho Monreal’s goal to show for their efforts heading into the break and had to wait until the 56th minute to make it 2-0 and effectively seal the three points when Alexis Sanchez set up Alex Iwobi with a lovely backheeled assist after some great build-up play.
Arsenal climbed to fifth with the win, level on points with Chelsea above them.
Iwobi’s goal to make it 2-0, it’s all about that assist from Sanchez thoughhttps://t.co/Sqy0vrJZVh
