Liverpool stepped up their preparations for the new Premier League season with a 7-2 win over Blackpool at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds were beaten by Arsenal in the Community Shield last weekend and found themselves 2-0 down after 40 minutes against the Seasiders.

But goals from Joel Matip, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Harvey Elliott, Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi and Sepp van den Berg helped complete a comfortable victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
