Watch: Amad Diallo sets up goal with stunning through ball in training

Manchester United‘s Amad Diallo showed why he’s so highly rated with a brilliant assist in training ahead of the Europa League final.

Diallo joined United from Atalanta for an initial £19million in January 2021 and is one of the most highly regarded youngsters in Europe.

After impressing for United’s Under-23s, he made his first-team debut against Real Sociedad in the Europa League and then scored a brilliant backwards header against AC Milan.

“He’s still a young lad, he’s 18 but of course we see top, top potential in him,” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Sky Sports in March. “He’s a very good lad, very likeable, he works hard. Of course he needs to adapt to a new country, a new language.

“He doesn’t speak English well enough still to feel confident enough to engage in the conversations – but that’s coming, he’s learning. We believe he has the attributes mentally, technically and physically to be a top player for us.”

The winger has since made three Premier League appearances for the club and has been named in their squad for the Europa League final against Villarreal.

During a training session ahead of the final, he won the ball in midfield and then delivered a perfectly weighted pass to Daniel James, who finished in style.
