Watch: Andy Robertson makes brilliant goal-saving tackle in Liverpool win

Liverpool made it seven wins from seven in the Premier League on Saturday – but their latest success at Sheffield United was not without its scares.

Georginio Wijnaldum’s goal 20 minutes from time earned the Reds a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane, but Jurgen Klopp admitted afterwards it was “lucky”, with Dean Henderson spoiling an otherwise brilliant performance when he spilled the Dutchman’s tame effort.

And Liverpool had almost fallen behind a few minutes earlier when the outstanding John Fleck burst into the box on the right and cut inside Fabinho only for Andrew Robertson to throw himself in front of the goalbound shot having made up ground from the opposite side of the pitch.

Leon Clarke also could have scored for the Blades late on, but Klopp argued his side were “deserved winners” in the end.

If it’s 0-0 we cannot moan and would not,” Klopp told the BBC. “But if there’s one winner it should be us. We worked had for it.

“Winning in days like this is extremely worthy. We scored a lucky goal, we know that. But the boys worked so hard for it.”
