Watch: Immense skill from Bukayo Saka leaves two defenders floored

Bukayo Saka and Kieran Tierney Celebrate, Elland Road, December 2021

Bukayo Saka has risen quickly in a short amount of time, becoming Arsenal’s main man at just 20 years of age.

After performing well in a variety of positions, he has found a home on the right wing, and seems to do something impressive every game.

His first-half away at Leeds United was no different. Fresh from his man-of-the-match performance against West Ham just days before, he was in the mood to ruin some more defenders.

And that is exactly what he did. He struck fear into the Leeds backline every time he picked up the ball and started playing with the arrogance of a proven winger like Riyadh Mahrez.

Midway through the first half, Saka committed footballing murder. Picking up the ball on the right wing, he drove into the space, and after a couple of stepovers, changed direction twice, leaving half the Leeds defence on their arses and desperate to head to the showers.

It was a sensational move, which unfortunately did not lead to a goal as the England international saw his shot rebound off the head of Robin Koch, adding injury to insult.

Without getting too carried away, Saka was cutting inside like Arjen Robben and tormented the hosts further before eventually scoring to make it 3-0 at the break.

His goal made it three for the season, whilst he is already on four assists in the league and is on course for his best season yet in Arsenal colours.

Raphinha and co could only sit back and watch Saka’s masterclass in awe.
