Watch: Ian Wright cries with joy as he celebrates Bukayo Saka’s great goal

Ian Wright couldn’t hide his emotions and wept with joy as he celebrated Arsenal‘s 3-1 victory over Chelsea on Boxing Day.

Arsenal have severely underperformed in the Premier League this season and went into the London derby four points above the relegation zone.

Their subsequent performance was as uplifting as it was unexpected. Goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka gave Mikel Arteta’s team a priceless victory.

Watching in the BT studio, Wright couldn’t contain his joy. Famed for wearing his heart on his sleeve, the former Arsenal striker exclaimed: “It’s like watching Brazil” and struggled to hold back tears of happiness.

It’s been slim pickings for Arsenal this season, so we can understand Wrighty’s sheer joy.
