Watch: Arteta has to be restrained after heated argument with Klopp
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp came face to face and had to be held apart during their Premier League match at Anfield.
It came in the 31st minute when Sadio Mane and Takehiro Tomiyasu collided on the pitch jumping for the ball.
Arteta had a problem with the challenge, and Klopp came across to meet the Spaniard, gesticulating his hands and shouting.
They had to be held apart by the fourth official, with the two sides coaching staff also getting involved in the battle of words across the technical areas.
Klopp and Arteta both had to be held back and calmed down by their respective coaches. The two were then summoned over by referee Michael Oliver, who booked the both of them.
They continued to share words as they both walked back to their dugouts.
