Watch: Bruno Fernandes’ inventive flick creates chance for Greenwood

Bruno Fernandes continued to be absolutely f*cking brilliant in Manchester United‘s 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Thursday night.

As every game passes, we’re left increasingly dumfounded at just how easy Fernandes has made moving to the Premier League look.

Think of all the great players to have struggled after joining Manchester United – Angel Di Maria, Diego Forlan, Alexis Sanchez – and then compare them to Fernandes.

Moving to an inconsistent side in a new country in the middle of the season, Fernandes looks like he has played for the Red Devils all his life and took his tally to seven goals and six assists in just 10 Premier League games after scoring from the spot and providing the pass for Paul Pogba’s goal against Villa.

While the headline figures are impressive, there’s also plenty of subtlety to enjoy about the midfielder, as he showed with this cheeky flick to create an early chance for Mason Greenwood, who sadly squandered the opportunity with a complete air shot.
