Watch: Callum Hudson-Odoi produces two David Beckham-esque passes
Callum Hudson-Odoi showcased his slick passing ability during Chelsea‘s 1-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.
Hudson-Odoi started the west London derby on the bench, with Frank Lampard choosing a much-changed team in an attempt to reverse Chelsea’s recent poor form.
Despite Fulham being down to 10 men for over half the game, Chelsea toiled to break them down.
Hudson-Odoi was introduced in the 75th minute and Mason Mount scored the game’s only goal shortly after.
In injury-time, with Chelsea hanging on to their lead, the winger instigated a slick counter-attack with a casual outside-of-the-foot pass.
Receiving the ball back from Tammy Abraham, Hudson-Odoi then raked a beautiful crossfield ball onto the toes of Timo Werner.
The move broke down, but that didn’t detract from the quality of the 20-year-old’s passing.
