Watch: Crystal Palace disallowed goal against Liverpool after VAR intervenes
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson won’t have been happy to see VAR intervene to disallow a goal against his former club Liverpool.
The Eagles thought they’d taken the lead against Jurgen Klopp’s league leaders through a James Tomkins header, but replays from the video assistant referee showed a push on Dejan Lovren in the build-up.
There was a lot of fierce debate on social media about the decision, especially as shortly following the break Sadio Mane put Liverpool ahead.
