Watch: Dele Alli’s beautiful dummy and nutmeg bamboozles DeAndre Yedlin

There may be a new Premier League season, but we were treated to the same Dele Alli as the Tottenham midfielder produced a wonderful dummy and nutmeg on poor DeAndre Yedlin in Spurs’ 2-1 victor at Newcastle United.

Spurs got their campaign off to a winning start at St James’ Park with an eventful opening quarter.

Jan Vertonghen gave Tottenham an early lead, only for Joselu to equalise for the hosts minutes later.

But Alli popped up to score what turned out to be the winner with less than 20 minutes on the clock thanks to a smart header.

And he also produced a moment of magic in the second half, but spare a thought for Yedlin.

Warning: you will have to watch this on repeat for a while.
