Watch: Ederson makes amazing double save to preserve Man City’s clean sheet

Manchester City got their Premier League title defence off to a winning start with a comfortable 5-0 win over West Ham – but Ederson was still able to show why he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

The Brazilian had very little to do all game, and he watched on as Jesus and Sterling gave City a 2-0 lead. However, he was finally called into action in the 73rd minute and made a fantastic double save.

A Fornals cross found Hernandez six yards out but Ederson parried his effort away and the 25-year-old then reacted quickly to stop Lanzini’s header from finding the back of the net.
