Watch: Eric at the wheel? Cantona claims he’s the new Man Utd boss

Former Manchester United striker Eric Cantona has had his fair share of controversy over the years, and his internet escapades are as bizarre as it gets.

Whenever a video with Cantona starts to spread around social media, there is always a sense of nervousness whilst anticipating what is to come.

The 55-year-old’s latest video has followed this trend of randomness, as he has posted a video to his Instagram with an ‘exclusive’ announcement.

After United sacked his former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solsjkjaer, they are now looking to appoint a new manager. PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino is their top target but they could also appoint an interim boss until the end of the season.

Steve Bruce has reportedly been offered to the club by his agent but Cantona has now ‘confirmed’ that he is taking the job and his staff are to be announced shortly.

We have a feeling that he’s not telling the truth, but we’d definitely love to see Cantona in the Old Trafford dugout.
