Rio Ferdinand admits he did not agree with Sir Alex Fergusons tactics for Manchester United‘s clash with Barcelona in the 2011 Champions League final.

United were outplayed at Wembley and ultimately beaten 3-1, their second Champions League final defeat to Barcelona in three years, as Pedro, Lionel Messi and David Villa struck.

Wayne Rooney did equalise for the Red Devils, but Ferdinand suggests United were always up against it due to the tactics Ferguson employed.

The former United defender provided some superb analysis on the game on BT Sport ahead of his former club’s trip to Bournemouth on Saturday – watch the full clip below.
