Watch: Gabriel Martinelli impresses Arsenal fans with brilliant pressing

Gabriel Martinelli showed Arsenal what they’ve been missing this season with a brilliant performance in their 3-1 win over Chelsea.
After joining the club from Ituano in 2019, Martinelli became the first teenager to score 10 goals in a season for Arsenal since Nicolas Anelka in 1998-
The striker then picked up an untimely knee injury during a training session and spent a number of months on the sidelines.
After making his eagerly anticipated return in the League Cup defeat to Manchester City, he was named in the starting line-up against Frank Lampard’s side.
He impressed alongside Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, terrorising Chelsea’s defence from the left wing while providing a fresh injection of energy.
The highlight of the 19-year-old’s game came in the first half when he showed an incredible engine to lead the press and push Chelsea back into their own half.
This is Martinelli’s third game back from a lengthy injury btw 🤯pic.twitter.com/0GQGHP79gf

Wanna know what martinelli can do when he doesn't score, today was the perfect example. His ability to retain possession and press as relentlessly as he does is incredible
