Watch: Gary Neville says Paul Pogba’s first half display is ‘like a joke to him’

Gary Neville hasn’t held back in recent weeks, slamming Arsenal and Chelsea for their poor performances, and now is the turn of Manchester United‘s Paul Pogba.

Pogba was sloppy in the first half as United allowed Crystal Palace to go in ahead at the break thanks to a deflected Andros Townsend strike.

Palace caught Jose Mourinho’s side out with a brilliantly executed quick free-kick routine just after half-time for Patrick Van Aanholt to double the lead before the visitors’ brilliant comeback.

Chris Smalling pulled one back less than 10 minutes later, before Romelu Lukaku levelled the scores and Nemanja Matic’s fantastic strike won United the game.

However, it was during the half-time break when Pogba came under criticism after a poor first half showing from the visitors.

“It’s like everything he does is like a YouTube or Instagram video,” Neville said. “It’s like he’s not serious, it’s like it’s a joke to him.”
