Watch: Harvey Elliott scores outrageous overhead kick for Liverpool Under-23s

Harvey Elliott continued to make us feel incredibly inadequate after the 16-year-old scored a brilliant overhead kick for Liverpool‘s Under-23s against Wolves on Wednesday night.
While Liverpool’s first team were busy winning 2-0 at West Ham, the club’s youngsters mounted a comeback from 2-0 down to draw with Wolves and secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup.
Joe Hardy pulled a goal back before Elliott grabbed the headlines with a superb overhead kick from a corner.
“First and foremost I thought it was an unbelievable goal,” Under-23s boss Neil Critchley said. “I’m not sure how he did that if I’m honest with you – it was worth coming just for that goal alone tonight. It was a terrific piece of skill.”
