Watch: Ian Wright’s grandson scores sensational solo goal against Arsenal

Ian Wright is a club legend at Arsenal but his grandson has now helped knock them out of the FA Youth Cup with a brilliant individual goal.

D’Margio Wright-Phillips, son of Shaun Wright-Phillips, is currently on a youth loan at Blackburn Rovers from Manchester City and faced the Gunners in the cup quarter-final.

The 18-year-old clearly has a lot to live up to, but big things are expected of him, and he’s got off to an impressive start at Rovers.

He picked the ball up near the halfway line and went on a brilliant run before firing a low shot past the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner.

The winger then produced a celebration to match the goal with an impressive back-flip that was reminiscent of Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

Watch the clip below.

Wright-Phillips later set up a goal for Sam Burns as Blackburn cruised to a 4-1 victory and progressed into the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
