Watch: Klopp can’t help but laugh about Liverpool’s poor home form

Jurgen Klopp couldn’t hide his disbelief when he realised the extent of Liverpool‘s recent poor home form in the Premier League.

After going on a 68-game unbeaten league run at Anfield, Liverpool then suffered a shock home defeat to Burnley in January.

Since then, the Reds have lost against Brighton, Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea and Fulham on their own turf.

They finally ended their shocking run of eight league games without a win at Anfield by beating Aston Villa 2-1 on Saturday.

Just before the post-match interview began, Klopp asked a reporter when Liverpool last won at Anfield in the league and burst into laughter when he was told it was before Christmas.

Liverpool will need another win at Anfield to reach the Champions League semi-finals as they look to overturn a 3-1 deficit against Real Madrid on Wednesday night.
