Liverpool may have gone 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League but Jurgen Klopp wasn’t happy with the fourth official.
The manager was furious when Bournemouth took a shock lead in the ninth minute at Anfield under controversial circumstances.
Callum Wilson had slotted home Jefferson Lerma’s low cross, but the hosts believed that there was a shove on Joe Gomez in the build-up to the goal.
Liverpool were expecting VAR to intervene but the goal was allowed to stand as they decided that it wasn’t a clear and obvious error by the referee.
The Reds were able to restore parity 14 minutes later when Mohamed Salah found the bottom right hand corner with a brilliant strike.
Sadio Mane then completed the turnaround by latching onto Virgil van Dijk’s pass before firing past Aaron Ramsdale and into the far corner.
As Klopp celebrated their goals he also made his feelings clear to the fourth official on the touchline.
