Watch: Kane appears in Spurs’ box to make crucial block Mourinho loves

Harry Kane is absolutely f*cking brilliant.
Right, it’s good to get that out of the way nice and early. Kane has been in stunning form for Tottenham at the start of 2020-21 and was once again at his best in the first half of Spurs’ Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday.
The England international provided an assist in the opening minute for Son-Heung min to open the scoring and had struck twice himself by the time the game was 16 minutes old.
But Kane refused to slacken off and highlight his superb all-round game as West Ham enjoyed a rare spell of pressure at the end of the first half.
Spurs’ defence failed to clear the ball out of the box but had Kane to thank as he spotted the potential threat of Vladimir Coufal at the back post, tracked the full-back’s run and made a crucial block to prevent the Hammers man from scoring.
We recently suggested Sergio Reguilon provided the perfect example of a Jose Mourinho wet dream, but we suspect Kane may have just raised the bar.
Mourinho certainly seemed impressed with his leading star at the half-time whistle, seeking out the forward to give him a well-earned high five as he left the pitch.

🔄 One assist
🛡 Vital block in his own box
🔥 Incredible all-round display🤝 No wonder Jose Mourinho went straight over to Harry Kane at the half-time whistle.
