Jurgen Klopp did not hide his emotions as Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 at Anfield in a frantic encounter at Anfield.
After a goalless first half, Liverpool made a much more intense start to the second and took the lead in the 51st minute as Sadio Mane headed home an excellent cross from Jordan Henderson.
And just two minutes later Mo Salah doubled the hosts’ lead with a goal of the season contender, producing an excellent touch to control Virgil van Dijk’s pass before cutting inside onto his left foot and firing an incredible finish into the top corner.
Klopp was typically passionate throughout the fixture and exploded at the sight of Salah’s goal, lifting substitute Xherdan Shaqiri off his feet on the sideline.
That cuddle with Klopp and @XS_11official had me crying man!!! Miss you Shaqiri! Love that smile, melts me every time 💖
