Watch: Liverpool loanee leaves Manuel Neuer on floor to score v Bayern
Marko Grujic gave Liverpool a reminder of his talent with a cool finish as Hertha Berlin frustrated Bayern Munich in their opening match of the 2019-20 Bundesliga campaign.
Reigning champions Bayern were held to a 2-2 draw by Hertha at home, requiring a 60th-minute Robert Lewandowski penalty to rescue a point after trailing 2-1 at half-time.
The hosts had taken the lead through Lewandowski in the 24th minute, only to be stunned by Hertha scoring twice in the space of two minutes.
Dodi Lukebakio, a summer signing from Watford who scored a hat-trick against Bayern last season while on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf, levelled the scores.
And Grujic, on loan at Hertha for the second consecutive season from Liverpool, showed excellent composure to round Manuel Neuer and slot home in the 36h minute.
