Watch: Jurgen Klopp pays emotional tribute to ‘sensational’ Diego Maradona

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has joined the floods of tributes for Diego Maradona after the Argentinian legend passed away on Wednesday.
Maradona, widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all-time, played a starring role in Argentina’s second World Cup triumph in 1986 and also had great success at club level with Boca Juniors, Barcelona and Napoli.
A host of Europe’s biggest football clubs observed a minute’s silence before their group stage games in the Champions League while Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico made a brilliant gesture during the warm-up.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat against Atalanta, Klopp paid his respects and revealed that he idolised Maradona while growing up in Germany.
"I'm 53 years old, my entire life, he was a part of it."
"Diego was a sensational guy. Maradona had some struggles. I will miss both."
