Watch: Liverpool’s Mo Salah hilariously runs away from Divock Origi’s pass

Mohamed Salah was on a completely different wavelength to Divock Origi during Liverpool‘s 1-1 draw with Midtjylland in the Champions League.

Origi was handed a rare start and tried to pick out his team-mate but Salah clearly wasn’t expecting it and made a run forward, completely missing the ball.

The Egypt international didn’t let it affect him and pounced on a loose pass before running clear and scoring the opener moments later.

He has now scored 21 Champions League goals for the Reds, overtaking Steven Gerrard to become their record goalscorer in the competition.

Fabinho produced a brilliant goal-line clearance to deny Sony Kaba but Alexander Scholz equalised from the penalty spot in the second half.
