Watch: Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino beats three players with great footwork

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino might not have scored against Watford, but he delighted the Anfield crowd with a brilliant piece of skill.

Jurgen Klopp’s side took started the game slowly and Abdoulaye Doucoure squandered a great opportunity to give the visitors the lead.

Firmino provided Liverpool’s best moment of the opening stages when he received a pass from Mohamed Salah and was immediately charged down by three Watford players.

The Brazilian showed great improvisation to get past them by pulling off a double drag-back and passing the ball out wide.

Firmino then started a counter attack which saw Sadio Mane release Salah and the winger cut inside and fired a brilliant effort past Ben Foster.

Liverpool had a goal ruled out for offside but they eventually doubled their advantage in injury time when Salah’s cheeky flick sneaked in.

The 2-0 win saw the Reds get their 16th league victory of the season and open up a 10-point gap at the top of the table.
