Watch: Man Utd loanee Ethan Galbraith gets assist with brilliant lofted pass

Manchester United loanee Ethan Galbraith registered his first assist in professional football during Doncaster Rovers’ game against Plymouth.
Galbraith came through the United academy and made his senior debut in the Europa League match against Astana in November 2019.
The midfielder is yet to add to that solitary performance but is highly regarded at the club and is also a senior Northern Ireland international.
“Not to put too much pressure on his shoulders, but he’s our little [Andres] Iniesta or Xavi,” Northern Ireland manager Ian Baraclough said in November 2020.
“Someone who can get on the ball and manipulate the ball and find positive passes. Over the coming years, he will give us a different flavour to the squad.”
Having impressed for United’s Under-23s, he decided to join League One side Doncaster Rovers on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old has started their last eight league games and showcased his excellent distribution against Plymouth, setting up Jordy Hiwula’s goal with a lofted pass.
But it wasn’t enough to earn his side the three points as Plymouth scored two goals from the penalty spot in the second half.
