Watch: Eric Bailly produces incredible goal-saving block in the 95th-minute

Manchester United had Eric Bailly to thank for their three points following a 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Friday night.

Bailly has been plagued by injury problems in recent years and was starting his fourth consecutive game for the first time since September 2017.

Anthony Martial broke the deadlock with a stooping first-half header before Bertrand Traore deservedly drew Villa level in the 58th minute.

United then retook the lead when Douglas Luiz was adjudged to have fouled Paul Pogba in the penalty area and Bruno Fernandes made no mistake from the spot.

Villa put United under pressure in the closing stages and looked set to equalise when the ball fell to substitute Keinan Davis in the 95th minute.

However, Bailly threw his body at Davis’ shot and blocked the effort as United held on for the win and went level on points with leaders Liverpool.
