Watch: Man Utd’s Ethan Laird does Ronaldo chop & assists for Swansea

Manchester United‘s Ethan Laird has turned into an assist machine during his time on loan in the Championship with Swansea City.
Laird, who came through United’s academy, spent the second half of last season on loan at MK Dons before reuniting with manager Russell Martin at Swansea.
The right-back registered his fourth assist of the season during Swansea’s 2-1 win away at Coventry, producing a Cristiano Ronaldo-esque chop before picking out team-mate Joel Piroe.
“As a young kid I always wanted to play for Manchester United,” Laird recently told Wales Online. “That’s something I have always aspired to do.
“But you have to realise there are steps to take. Every person’s journey is different and there are things that you need to do to get to where you want to be.
“We have two loan managers who watch our games every week and contact us in the week at least twice, analysing our game, telling us what we can do better, what we can do well, what we should look forward to in the next game.”
