Watch: Luke Shaw skips past Mo Salah with Cruyff turn on edge of his own box

Luke Shaw Cruyff turned Mohamed Salah on the edge of his own penalty area during Manchester United‘s goalless draw with Liverpool.

Shaw was named Man of the Match for his display at Anfield, helping United ensure a result that kept them top of the Premier League table.

While goalmouth action during the game was scarce, the defender enlivened proceedings with a moment of trickery that could have had dire consequences.

With the game starting to open up, Xherdan Shaqiri shepherded a cute first-time pass into Salah’s path.

Shaw read the danger and intercepted. Not content with snuffing out Liverpool’s attacking move, the 25-year-old then Cruyff turned his opponent before laying the ball back to David de Gea.
