Sadio Mane may have helped Liverpool consign Watford to another defeat on Saturday, but the forward took the time afterwards to make sure compatriot Ismaila Sarr was being looked after at the Hornets.
Sarr joined Watford in a £25million deal this summer, and the 21-year-old told BBC Sport earlier in the week that he looks up to Mane as a “big brother”, often turning to his Senegal team-mate when he has found it difficult to adapt to life in England.
The duo were filmed talking after Liverpool’s 2-0 win at Anfield, with Mane taking the opportunity to ask the passing Watford captain Troy Deeney to “take care of my boy”.
Just when you thought you couldn’t love him any more than you already do, he goes and does this.
“Take care of my boy.”
