Watch: Marcus Rashford pulls off preposterous trick to create chance

Marcus Rashford scored his fifth goal in five games in Manchester United‘s 3-1 win over Brighton – but the real moment of the game came when he utterly humiliated Davy Propper.

Andreas Pereira’s first goal of the season and Propper’s own goal put United 2-0 ahead inside 20 minutes, with Rashford scoring their third in the 66th minute, just a couple of minutes after Lewis Dunk had pulled one back for Brighton.

It moved Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side up to seventh and made it three goals in back-to-back games following the 3-0 win over Partizan in the Europa League on Thursday night – and it was clear to see confidence returning to the players, particularly in the latter stages.

Anthony Martial was denied what would have been a brilliant solo goal by Matt Ryan in the visitors’ goal, but even better than that was the skill Rashford produced to beat Propper and create a chance for himself 15 minutes from the end.

Facing the midfielder up on the edge of the box, Rashford produced an elastico, synonymous with Ronaldinho, and even managed to get a nutmeg in before having his effort blocked by Ryan at the near post.

Frankly, we could watch it all day long.
