Watch: Marcus Rashford shows frightening pace to support Fred

Videos

Marcus Rashford continued his excellent form for club and country with another excellent display as Manchester United won 2-1 at fierce rivals Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Going into the game, Rashford was coming off the back of a match-winning brace against Tottenham and 12 goals in his last 13 appearances for United and England.

And the striker made it 13 goals in 14 games by opening the scoring from the penalty spot after being brought down in the area following a dangerous run.

Anthony Martial later made it 2-0, while Rashford also hit the bar before City pulled one back late on through Nicolas Otamendi.

United were a constant menace on the break thanks to the speed of Dan James, Martial and Rashford, with the latter demonstrating his frightening pace shortly after scoring the opener to offer support to midfielder Fred – and the striker almost grabbed his second of the game as a result.
