Watch: Martin Odegaard sinks to his knees in celebration after Arsenal goal

Martin Odegaard couldn’t hide his emotions after Arsenal produced a brilliant comeback to beat Benfica in the Europa League.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring at the Karaiskakis Stadium to give the Gunners a 2-1 aggregate lead.

Diogo Goncalves netted an equaliser just before the break with a brilliant free-kick before Rafa Silva capitalised on a Dani Ceballos mistake to give Benfica the lead.

After Kieran Tierney handed them a lifeline, Aubameyang scored a dramatic late winner to book Arsenal a place in the Europa League last-16.

Odegaard, who recently joined the club on loan from Real Madrid, has already shown glimpses of his exceptional talent for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The midfielder has now displayed his passion and produced a brilliant celebration once Aubametang had put the ball into the back of the net.
