Barcelona may have surrendered their La Liga crown to Real Madrid, but Lionel Messi still had another incredible season. 

Messi produced a brilliant performance in their final game against Alaves, setting up Ansu Fati’s goal in the first-half before getting on the score-sheet himself.

The Argentina international then floated a brilliant ball into Jordi Alba’s path and the left-back played it across to Luis Suarez with a volleyed pass.

Suarez made no mistake from close range and headed the ball into the back of the net to round off a wonderful team move.

Defender Nelson Semedo added a fourth early in the second half before Messi struck again, scoring his 25th league goal of the season.
