Watch: Newcastle players fly into 7 big tackles in the space of 20 seconds

Newcastle United moved into the top half of the Premier League table with their third victory in a row, away at Leicester City.

Neatly taken goals from Jonjo Shelvey and Ayoze Perez either side of the break won the match for Rafa Benitez’s men, with Jamie Vardy pulling one back for the hosts late on.

However, the biggest cheer of the afternoon from the away end didn’t come for either of the goals but for a sequence of tackles.

The 50-50 is a dying art in football, with tackles being scrutinised by slow-motion replays and close-ups, so to see a significant number in a short space of time is a rare thing of beauty.

Ok, so maybe the last two are fouls, but it doesn’t stop this clip being one to watch and enjoy over and over again.
