Watch: N’Golo Kante makes brilliant tackle to stop Sadio Mane breakaway

N’Golo Kante continues to put in incredibly impressive displays for Chelsea, and displayed his excellent tackling ability in Sunday’s match with Liverpool.
Kante has been instrumental for Chelsea since joining from Leicester, winning the PFA Player of the Year award last term.
And one particular tackle caught the eye, proving extremely worthwhile for Chelsea, who later went ahead thanks to a brilliant header from Olivier Giroud.
Kante’s midfield partner Tiemoue Bakayoko was the man who got all the plaudits for the goal, spraying an excellent pass out to Victor Moses, whose cross was met by a finely placed header from Giroud.
But prior to the goal, the Reds’ pacey front three looked to race away on the break, with Sadio Mane leading the charge and running towards goal through the centre of the pitch.
Mane looked to be bearing down on goal with Gary Cahill backpedalling, but out of nowhere Kante came in on the slide to brilliantly win back possession and stop the attack.
Yet another important tackle from N'Golo Kanté, this time stopping Sadio Mané in full stride on the counter. What a player. #CFC pic.twitter.com/dY6cq30I41
