Watch: Odegaard scores p*sstakingly great goal in Real Madrid training

There is a lot of hype surrounding the prospects of Martin Odegaard at Real Madrid – and it’s not surprising considering this goal he scored in training.

The Norway international has long been touted as one of Europe’s hottest young talents. In May 2015, aged just 16, he became the youngest player to represent Los Blancos. Productive loan spells at Heerenveen, Vitesse and Real Sociedad have followed.

Now 21, Odegaard has been given the opportunity to establish himself in Madrid’s first-team squad. Making five La Liga appearances already this season, he would have done his chances no harm with this pisstakingly good goal in training.

Dribbling past Rodrygo and Marco Asensio, violating the latter with a poised drag back, he had the presence of mind to bamboozle the goalkeeper with a step-over before slotting home with his left foot.

If he can fulfil this evident talent, then Odegaard has an illustrious future ahead of him.
