Watch: Ozan Kabak humiliates Trent Alexander-Arnold in Liverpool training

Liverpool fans have got their first glimpse of new signing Ozan Kabak after the centre-back completed his loan move from Schalke.

After Joel Matip joined both Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk on the injury list, Jurgen Klopp’s side signed Ben Davies and Kabak on deadline day.

The Turkey international is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Europe and the Reds have the option to make the move permanent for an £18million fee in the summer.

“Liverpool play offensive football and press high; sometimes they leave some space in the back so I think Liverpool centre-backs need to be fast, so I think I suit it in this way,” Kabak told Liverpool’s official website.

“Also, they like to play and build the game, so you need to have good feet to build up the game. So I think I suit Liverpool very well.”

He showcased his excellent footwork during a recent passing rondo, cheekily nutmegging Trent Alexander-Arnold with a backheel flick.

While Alexander-Arnold looks less than impressed, Andy Robertson reacts with delight and Sadio Mane suggests the video should be shown “to the whole world”.
