It’s been a good pre-season for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United so far, with plenty of encouraging signs from their younger players.
Perhaps the most encouraging thing is that Paul Pogba looks as good as ever. His future might be up in the air, with the Frenchman making noises about leaving, but you wouldn’t know it from his performances on the pitch.
It was scoreless when he pulled this insane trick out of the bag against Antonio Conte’s Inter in Singapore. He managed to turn past three onrushing Inter players, drift into space and get a decent shot away, forcing a save from Samir Handanovic.
