Watch: Pep Guardiola hilariously talks to empty chair during Man City defeat
Pep Guardiola is regarded as one of the best tacticians in the world, but he seemed to lose the plot during Manchester City‘s 2-0 defeat against Arsenal.
Guardiola came up against his former protege Mikel Arteta, who left his job as City’s assistant manager to succeed Unai Emery at Arsenal in December 2019.
The Gunners took the lead in the 19th minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang showed great technique to steer home Nicolas Pepe’s cross at the far post.
City dominated possession but couldn’t find an equaliser and the pressure appeared to be getting to the manager who appeared to be talking to himself on the bench.

Aubameyang doubled Arsenal’s lead with a composed finish in the 71st minute to send Arteta’s side into the FA Cup final.
