Watch: Peter Drury’s commentary on Salah’s hat-trick against Man Utd

Peter Drury is renowned for his iconic style of commentary and he showed why as Liverpool thumped Manchester United 5-0 on Sunday.

Naby Keita and Diogo Jota put Jurgen Klopp’s side two goals ahead before 15 minutes had been played and Mohamed Salah helped himself to a hat-trick as Liverpool recorded their biggest ever victory at Old Trafford.

And Drury was there to lend his voice to Salah’s latest heroics in a Liverpool shirt.

The renowned commentator was on hand to describe Salah’s wonder goal against Watford last time out and provided a fitting soundtrack to Liverpool’s stunning success against their arch-rivals.

Drury, commentating on the match for the Premier League’s international feed, provided a few lines that’ll stick in the memory.

When Salah scored his third, Drury said: “He’s on an Old Trafford hat-trick here, Mo Salah… and he captures the moment.

“The man is extraordinary, the match is extraordinary, the scoreline is extraordinary – that picture will be framed and kept forever by Liverpool fans all over the world.”
