Watch: Roy Keane calls Liverpool ‘bad champions’ after Man City thrashing

Roy Keane called Liverpool ‘bad champions’ and criticised their mentality after their 4-1 thrashing against Manchester City.
Liverpool have faltered badly in the league since Christmas and their third successive Anfield defeat has left them 10 points behind City, having played a game more.
Following the game, Micah Richards enjoyed rubbing salt into Graeme Souness’s wounds while Keane didn’t hold back in his assessment of Klopp’s side.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Keane said: “We spoke about some sort of drop off (this season), they won the league last year and they believed their own hype and thought ‘we could beat other teams’ but now we’re talking about the top four and it being their target.”
He went on to say: “Klopp was saying maybe the goalkeeper’s feet were cold. It’s excuse after excuse. It just goes on and on. Just get on with it. You’re Liverpool football club, if you keep behaving like that, it will be another 30 years before you win another title.”
🗣 "They are making a lot of excuses, to me they've been bad champions."
