Watch: Roy Keane praises Saka and savages Arsenal in the same sentence

The result of England’s World Cup qualifier against Andorra was never in doubt but the main story was Bukayo Saka’s return to Wembley 56 days after his penalty miss in the Euro 2020 final.

The Arsenal man was afforded an extremely warm reception after his response to that night and the racist abuse that followed.

Saka scored the final goal in England’s 4-0 victory and was the recipient of praise from the notoriously hard-to-please Roy Keane.

“Football is all about dealing with disappointment,” he told ITV. “Saka has reacted well, he seems a good kid.”

But Keane couldn’t resist sticking the boot into Arsenal, the club he enjoyed some titanic battles against during his playing days.

“Obviously nice day for him today, obviously scoring with a header. I’m sure he’s going to enjoy the win because he’s not getting many at club level.”

Arsenal are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League after losing all three of their matches this season. They’ve yet to score a league goal and face Norwich City on Saturday.
