Watch: Roy Keane trolls Man Utd’s Fred after late miss against Chelsea

Despite producing a brilliant performance, Fred had one moment to forget during Manchester United’s draw with Chelsea.
With the scores level at 1-1 in the 88th minute, Fred fortuitously received the ball from Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. But the midfielder failed to take advantage, producing a tame chipped effort that Mendy was able to catch.
After the game, Roy Keane joked that the Chelsea players were glad that the ball fell to Fred rather than one of his United team-mates.
Keane has always been one of Fred’s biggest critics and after United’s recent defeat to Manchester City, he said: “If OIe [Gunnar Solskjaer] walked in here now I’d grab him by the [collar] and say ‘why are you playing Fred?’
“All managers have to make their own decisions, they’re working with the players day in, day out, I would look at him and go ‘why are you playing Fred in the middle of the park?’ And he has to take responsibility for that, I agree.”
