Watch: Sadio Mane pulls off brilliant stepover to skip past Jermain Defoe

Sadio Mane enjoyed Liverpool‘s match with Bournemouth, scoring his side’s first goal and tearing Eddie Howe’s side apart on the left wing.

Mane had opened the scoring in the first half for Jurgen Klopp’s side, as he headed Jordan Henderson’s cross goalwards before turning in the rebound after Asmir Begovic’s save.

He was enjoying himself on the left wing, seeing a lot of the ball with Mo Salah being marked out of the game by Nathan Ake on the other side.

Mane showed this off with some brilliant skill on the flank, stepping over the ball before skipping past Defoe before delivering a cross.

Salah then did manage to escape his marker to score a brilliant goal to double his side’s lead in the second half.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has impressed a number of people recently with a senior England call-up even touted, delivered an excellent cross from deep, which the Egyptian brilliantly headed over Begovic from just inside the area.
