Sean Morrison had a second half which could go a long way to helping decide both the Premier League title race and relegation battle as Liverpool triumphed 2-0 at Cardiff City on Sunday.
After Manchester City beat Tottenham 1-0 on Saturday, the pressure was on Liverpool to win at Cardiff to return to the top of the table.
Cardiff, fighting for their survival towards the bottom of the table, made things difficult for the Reds as the game was still scoreless at half-time.
Georginio Wijnaldum broke the deadlock in the second half, but Morrison had a brilliant chance to equalise for the hosts, only to somehow duck underneath the ball when he was presented with the chance to head into an open goal.
And the defender compounded the error shortly afterwards by bringing down Mo Salah in the box to concede a penalty which James Milner converted to secure all three points.
